KPE Bypass Valve for Operation with Submersible Pumping Equipment (rated up to 5076 psi)
KPE Bypass Valve for Operation with Submersible Pumping Equipment (rated up to 5076 psi)

KPE Bypass Valve for Operation with Submersible Pumping Equipment (rated up to 5076 psi)
It is designed to bypass fluid or gas from the annulus to tubing when they are operated with the closed annulus.
DESCRIPTION APPLICATION
- flowing well operation;
- pumping of wells with high gas ratio;
- mixed well operation (start up with a pump and flowing operation after the pump is shut down).
ADVANTAGES
- large passage area across the valves allows the pump unit to operate in its normal mode as well as with a closed annulus;
- allows well operation in the flowing mode with the pump equipment tripped in;
- the valves generate harmonic oscillations of the bottomhole pressure and increase well flow rates;
- in combination with the ESP Unit it allows to operate wells with high gas ratio (up to several thousands of m3/m3) – an engineering calculation is required.
DESIGN FEATURES
- valve has a rotating body with a slot for the submersible electric equipment cable;
- flowing capacity doesn’t decrease in any position of its body.
TESTIMONIALS
- Under-control operation completion certificate from TPP “Uraineftegaz”
- Testimonial from “Gazpromneft-Vostok” Ltd.
